Hightopps Backstage Grille

We met up here as a group for our holiday party gift exchange. For a Saturday evening during peak holiday season the place was jumping, pretty packed but we had one of the rooms reserved so that helped. Ordered several different appetizers to share amongst the group, the crab dip in the bread bowl went super fast. Tried the chicken nachos, they were decent. The Hot Buttered Rum drink was surprisingly amazing! Had to haggle a bit to get my cinnamon stick, but the manager on duty finally did the right thing and sent over a complimentary one cinnamon stick included. Feedback around the table, the Bourbon Blueberry Splash could have used more alcohol, had no kick, but add in shots were requested...

A group of work friends have started to use Ht, for a every other month get together, because it is a central location for our group members. We like the food, there is something for everyone. The atmosphere is nice, lately we have been able to sit in the indoor sports bar that has a fireplace. Often we are the only ones in that room at that time. The service and food has been high quality. Salads and wraps have been my choices and I have enjoyed them. Our group can be 4 to 12 people showing up, there are many options for seating, and the restaurant is very accommodating.

More than a bar on site that is a beautiful function. Live music at the weekend. Pub-style food. Many free parking spaces next to the State Exhibition Centre.

The Tenderloin Melt was wonderful. What more can you want to cook steak like you with cheese on roasted bread. Fries were very sharp and well salted.
