This place is phenomenal! Stopped here on a whim after getting a haircut locally, and what a good decision that was! The place is clean and the service outstanding. Karina was such a great host, very attentive and nice. Since this was my first time, went for the Lomo Saltado. It didn't take long for the hot plate to come. The flavors were all on point, just as perfect as it could be. Very large portion but I finished it (mama would have been proud) They have 2 sauces tableside: a jalapeño-based aioli and a huacatay sauce. Amazing Lomo-Salzado — as I mentioned to the friend who took me there, “good the ride of Irvine also worth by Friday night traffic.” The ice is also very good, especially for a not sweet person like me. We all agree that it could do without the chicolat syrup

Many Peruvian restaurants americanize their dishes. Higo tastes really authentic. Best Peruvian food we 've had since Lima. Also, our server was super friendly and attentive. We will certainly return.
