As soon as I walked in, it was swelteringly hot. The place was a complete mess, with boxes everywhere. I can’t believe health inspectors haven’t stepped in.
I ordered three bowls and added avocado to each one (for an extra $2.00 each), but the avocado was disgusting—old, brown, and black bits. The chicken was fatty and lacked flavor.
In the end, I had to drown everything in teriyaki sauce and hot sauce just to get through my meal. It was a total waste of $40.

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. The owner was extremely disrespectful, yelling at me and repeatedly saying, "I don't care." It felt like he was being irrationally angry and unprofessional without any provocation. His treatment of women was particularly poor, reflecting a lack of basic etiquette and service standards. It seems as though he might need help with anger management or other issues, as he shouldn't be running a restaurant with such an attitude. Additionally, I found his behavior to be quite concerning and possibly indicative of deeper problems. As for the food, it was just as disappointing—the chicken was fatty and tough. Overall, I do not recommend this place.
I have to say that the customer service was quite disappointing. When I placed my order, the staff member acted as if he couldn't hear me, and I had to repeat my request multiple times. Once my food was ready, he didn't even inform me. I asked for some sauce, and instead of engaging in a conversation, he just pointed towards it. While I don’t like to make assumptions based on race, as a Black/mixed woman, I felt I was treated differently. When I expressed my dissatisfaction with his service, he responded rudely, claiming that it was just him working there. That’s still no excuse for treating paying customers poorly. I certainly won’t be returning.
I hesitated to write this review because I thought I might give this restaurant another chance. However, I’ve come to the conclusion that even though my mind says to try it again, my body is firmly saying no. Unfortunately, first impressions matter. After dining here, I ended up feeling extremely ill, and I was reluctant to eat sushi for quite some time afterward. When my sushi was served, it didn’t appear fresh, and the taste confirmed that. Even though the atmosphere was nice and other diners seemed to be enjoying their meals, I mistakenly assumed that they wouldn’t compromise on quality. It turns out they do.

Greedy. I'm a few weeks late with this, but I feel the need to address the poor service and unseemly business practices at this restaurant. They ran out of white rice, leaving us with only the option of brown rice, which is more expensive. Despite not wanting the brown rice and it being their fault for running out, they still charged us for it. To make matters worse, the employee on duty tried to waive the charge, but the OWNER insisted on charging us anyway, saying, "Charge them for it, charge them!" It’s unacceptable. I hope they reconsider their business approach.
The restaurant was unclean and noisy, with very few tables available. When I entered, the noise level was quite high, as the cook was vacuuming the floor while preparing food. The dining area had only three tables, and I noticed there were no customers dining in. The food itself was oily and greasy, and the overall cooking environment did not appear to be sanitary. The dining area felt disorganized and uninviting. If you’re considering ordering take-out, I would be concerned about the cleanliness of the food and the quality of the meats being used.
I ordered from this restaurant via Uber Eats, and I have to say the food was terrible. It was over-salted, burnt on the outside, and cold in the middle. The owner seems so greedy that they couldn’t even bother to use sustainable packaging for my items. Everything was a complete mess! The Coke tasted like dishwater. I’ve requested a refund from Uber Eats and I will definitely never order from this place again.
Additionally, the cleanliness of the establishment was concerning. The kitchen area was cluttered with boxes, the countertops were dirty, and the sauce containers were carelessly thrown into a bin, making it feel very unsanitary. I am baffled by how this place continues to be so popular. I won't be coming back here again.

I absolutely love their salmon and macaroni salad; there's no other place that compares! Unfortunately, it seems this restaurant has been closed since my last order. I've been eagerly waiting to place another order, but I guess I should check it out in person sometime...
The restaurant appeared to be out of business, with the door left open and mail scattered on the floor. I recommend calling ahead before visiting.
