Food was good, (I got the butter chicken). Mango Lassie was excellent. Unfortunately, portion sizes were odd and very small for the price. We had a larger group. We got there around 7. The staff started to turn lights off on us around 8:30, so we had to leave. Closing time was listed at 9:30. I understand staff wanting to get home, but for the price of the food, I thought we should be allowed to stay a little longer. Also odd for a week night. Not the most welcoming experience. It’s my first time at Himalayan hut. I had steamed chicken momos, chicken karahi curry for garlic naans. The staff was friendly, service was fast and taste of the food was good. I tried momos in different places and were not really great but I loved the momos here at Himilayan hut, tastes good and were up to the expectation. Overall good experience with food. Can improve on the ambience but worth visiting!!
I arrived expecting a vibrant buffet of Indian cuisine, as depicted in the photos, but instead discovered a nearly empty restaurant and wine bar. The staff was friendly and the food was tasty, although I was taken aback by how quickly it was prepared. The hot tea was enjoyable as I sipped it while waiting for my additional order of samosas. I just wish the atmosphere was more in line with its name.
Just went to Himalayan Hut for the first time. I had the sagg paneer with garlic naan, and strawberry lassi. My daughter had chicken tikka masala, naan, and mango lassi. The food was fantastic, and the service was fast and friendly. I got mine with a medium heat level, and I found it to have a nice spice, but not uncomfortable. We will definitely be back!

The Indian food was decent, but not exceptional. The service was average at best, and the atmosphere lacked any vibrancy. I would suggest getting your order to go. Overall, I would rate it 3.25 stars. I won’t be dining in again. Food rating: 4/5.
They don't know how to cook food, seems like they put chicken in tomato soup and call it butter chicken. They claim they sell naan but they give you a kulcha instead.People who don't know what Indian dishes taste like, this is a rip off !
Himalayan Hut in St. Louis, Missouri, offered a delicious meal overall. The food was packed with flavor, although the Garlic Naan could have had an improved texture and taste. The delivery service via DoorDash was prompt and convenient.
