Himalayan Nepalese Restaurant & Cafe

Pedimos pollo y cordero momos, plato de aperitivos, carne cremosa y naan simple. Momos eran deliciosos, gran pollo preferido al cordero. Gambas Masala también fue deliciosa, con grandes langostinos jugosos. La carne cremosa era dura y masticable, ya que el sabor de la gloriosa salsa de crema no se absorbió en la carne de res. Naan era normal, pero fue genial con los curries. En general, la comida valió la pena probar como una puerta de entrada a la cocina nepalí. Un problema que teníamos con este lugar era la tendencia de la camarera a "forzarnos" a pedir más artículos. We ordered chicken and lamb momos, appetizer platter, creamy beef, and plain naan. Momos were delicious, much preferred chicken to lamb. Prawn masala was also delicious, with big juicy prawns. Creamy beef was tough and chewy as, the flavour of the glorious cream sauce did not absorb into the beef. Naan was average, but was great with the curries. Overall, the food was worth a try as a gateway into Nepalese cuisine. One issue we had with this place was the waitress' tendency to "force" us to order more items. We had doubts, but since it was our first time we went with her judgement, as a result, we ended up ordering and spending way too much. I personally would not hurry back.

PWe thought we would try this place as we have past is so many times and notice it's quit busy. Service not that great , they seem a bit bored, and over it . We started with the the Chicken Momo , it's a huge serve and they were lovely little moist parcels with a creamy korma sauce to accompany! We also really enjoyed the garlic man bread (YUM). The other dish was the chefs tasting plate , the chicken and lamb was a tad dry, but the Samosa , and other other items were ok. The restaurant & atmosphere seemed to lack love , and fun. Felt like they were just going through the motions (if that makes sense ).. I probably would not rush back , but we were satisfied.

Buen servicio y comida. Preguntamos si podríamos tener un menú alterado un poco de requisitos dietéticos, y no hay problema. He estado aquí un par de veces especialmente para Saag Ra Paneer y Fish Masala, que son un favorito de todos los tiempos. Encontré a los momos y el promedio de ajo naan, pero todavía volvería para otros platos.

Good service and food. We asked if we could have menu altered a bitdue to dietary requirements, and no prob at all. Been here a couple of times especially for the Saag Ra Paneer and Fish Masala, which are an all-time favourite. Found the Momos and garlic naan average, but would still come back for other dishes.

It doesn't get more authentic when there's a table of Buddhist monks sitting next to you!!!! The food was actually really good, very authentic. The service was almost regal. They scurried away to every request promptly. Inexpensive and satisfying and most importantly authentic cuisine

Ligeramente caro pero sabe bien como de costumbre. La porción del pan de Naan podría haber sido mayor de 4 mini rodajas y pollo de mantequilla tiene solo 10 mini cubos en un tazón de salsa. Pasé $ 65 por dos sin la bandeja y la bebida.

Slightly pricey but taste good as usual. The portion of the naan bread could have been larger than 4 mini slices and butter chicken has only 10 mini cubes in a bowl of sauce. Spent $65 for two without on tray and drink.
