Himalayan Spice

Both the food and the service were really fantastic. We tried to find somewhere to eat and we were far too late for most places (after 10 a.m. on a weekday), but the people in Himalayan Spice were so welcoming and we didn't feel any hurry at all. The whole food was really good, but the nannn bread was up there with the best we ever had, and the king prawn purée was great. Would highly recommend.

Recommended to us by a local taxi driver this is a small restaurant just off Southside on the Barbican. Food is a mix of Indian and Nepalese and it is brilliant. We tried Nepalese curries washed down with Nepalese beer (Everest). Staff were friendly and attentive. If you like spice in your food, try here. If you don’t, try here anyway.

Set in an Elizabethan style building in the Barbican area just off the Main Street the Himalayan Spice offers the perfect answer to a need of a good Indian dinner great food, good beer and pleasant and efficient service.

Excellent food could not be faulted. Extremely poor service. Very slow and disorganised. Chips came out with the Birthday Cake, didn't even think to bring out a knife and plates for the Cake. I know blame it on Covid.

The food here is amazing, one of the best curries in Plym. The staff is always nice and friendly, was here a few times with my partner's father for birthday.
