An absolute hidden gem of South Lake Tahoe! My wife and I went on a Tuesday evening with our newborn and were absolutely delighted with the family style atmosphere. We did not have a reservation and waited less than five minutes, but the parking lot and street were packed. I highly suggest getting early to find parking as parking was limited. They have outdoor seating with lawn games and inside had a foosball table where children (and adults) could play. The food was amazing. The large pretzel probably could feed 4-6 as it was incredibly large. Both the chicken and pork schnitzel were fantastic. This is our new go to spot whenever we find ourselves in Tahoe.
First time dinning here, it a great Germany restaurant. If you want something different at the strip stop by here for good German foods. They do have many varieties of sausages. Prices can be little high though. Although I find the sausages is little small, be greeat if they can increase the size of that. Overall, good foods. Free Parking can be on site or there is also a little hill area across the street you can park.
Wonderful German food, we tried the lamb schnitzel, the sausage platter, and multiple other dishes including the pretzel. It comes with multiple mustards that are all good. We had apple strudel for dessert, which I highly recommend. Everything was fantastic and it had a great corn hole area out front. We will definitely be back when we are in Tahoe.
This place is actually kid friendly. My kids ate all their mac (spaetzel) n cheese plus the left overs the next day. They have games out front for when the kids can't stand sitting at the table anymore as well. All the adult food was excellent, too. I didn't drink any beer, but they have a good selection of German beers to try.

If you are looking for something different when visiting South Lake Tahoe this is a good choice. The serving size is very large. Every table around us seemed to order the pretzel. The food was great and the pretzel was great. They have great service. You won't go away hungry or disappointed. It is a place we would go back to.
The restaurant serves excellent beer and delicious food. I recommend trying their sausage platter and pretzel, especially the curry wurst. We returned again today and the pretzel was just as amazing as before. My favorite beer is their dark lager, Marzen.
Food was good... older male host was not pleasant at all. Server was good, but seemingly over worked. Very loud environment. The dishes contained more food than you can eat. 300+ for dinner for 6 with no alcohol ordered.
Great place to taste authentic German food. The same variety of sausages from my past live in Europe. Great selection of beer. Lively atmosphere and great service!

Despite all the bruhaha about the place it's pretty average, and the food is bland. 4th star is for desert!
Authentic German food! Excellent menu. Good German beer. Service was excellent.
