after our apartment-technical change the Rhine side from right to left, the new one was to investigate against their restaurants. as one of the first points was the "hippelanker wirtshaus" on our To-Do list. At this point, the inclined reader might get to ask: "what for’n house"? well, the conceptually host house is self-explaining, but hippel and anchor?Nee, hip and lank must be called it. the hip stands for the goat, which was the most popular pet, at a time when grimlinghausen was still farmed; and lank stands for land. In short: Goatland. the first view from outside always applies to the beer brand: frankenheim alt. not the worst, but we were pampered by the good home brewers düsseldorfs...
it is Friday, later in the afternoon. the work is done and our stomachs are telling hunger feelings. as we are just refueling on the street 9 - that old road from carn to newss or novesia - I suggest to my dear wife to follow the tripadvisor recommendation and visit a house recommendation in Neuss-Grimlinghausen. in the first run, we drove past once. from the outside (and actually from the inside) the hippelanker wetshaus looks rather modest. but rather a small modest house with large, undecided portions than vice versa. 17.30h: There is not much left here, but the few drilled in here and out behind the geraniums, all know each other. Today we have eaten in this rather inconspicuous host house. it is in style, as you know in bayern village guesthouses. but the kitchen is remarkably good. everything is served on barely shredded wood tables, and everything is kind of original. there is a menu, and also seasonal dishes such as pfifferlings, economical etc. depending on the season. we caught the protective-resistant, and so the small menu was only 1 single sheet. but no problem, we ordered 2 times the grill plate and our son the jägerschnitzel. the courts and the side salad were perfect, and extremely plentiful. the beer was perfectly tempered. when we are back in the corner, we come back to try dishes from the normal card. t...
the outdoor relatiw trist acting host house should have visited each time. the really courteous and attentive host welcomes every guest personally without being intrusive.From a small selection of cocktails over fresh cool beer from the barrel, to a simple glass water is there to get everything. Apart from the extraordinarily nice service, eating is clearly worth it. everything is freshly cooked and made yourself. the self-made croquettes as well as the meat dishes are the fucker! the chef has already been awarded by a timeline. we were already five, six times brain whether to the green cabbage time or Wednesday to the carving day it was always very tasty the cook is a real original and that we are very friendly. who would like to see a football game in the community and have good easy eating is brain
