It's a mixed review, positive and negative 4 of the meals where lovely. But 2 where not worth it and not very nice. 4 adults had the new years party menu. The starters where tasty and we all enjoyed them, the chateaubriand was lovely, very tasty and a good sized portion, with plenty of skin on fries. The cod dish again was lovely and looked fresh and had no issues. The surf and turf, AVOID!! unfortunately was not worth the money at all. We weren't sure what the steak was. Very tough and looked horrible, the lobster was bland and tasteless, for an extra 10€ it certainly wasn't worth it and was an expensive dish! No garnish and a real disappointment! We have just had one of the worst restaurant experiences ever! My partner ordered the Fish and Chips and I ordered the Salmon. My partner’s fish was really dry and unappetising and my salmon was raw in the middle and inedible. I, naturally, complained about the salmon and the chef came to the table to ask if I wanted the same piece of fish re-cooked or a new piece of fish. Of course I asked for a new piece of fish! When, eventually, the waitress brought my meal to our table, she asked me to check the salmon and, when I cut into it, she could see for herself that the middle was again raw! By now, I had lost my appetite and we asked for the bill, perhaps foolishly expecting at least some reduc...
We didn't know the hippopotamus chain. as we stayed in the bb host next to the limoges 1, we discovered this restaurant. I took a duck with acacia honey with its small vegetables and a potato in the oven: very good dish I recommend. For 2 people, we paid 43 euros with a pair of appetizers, half aperture, a caesar salad and a duck.We were well received and served quickly. address to keep!

we chose two menus 24.9. these are a good quality price ratio. we ate well alone little flat the meat a little thanks to my taste. fast and dynamic service with pleasant and smiling staff.
We took a piece of meat to share really extra. We have already come several times in this restaurant and we are never disappointed. We'll be back there in a next move to the East.
