Hippopotamus Arcueil

Was here a few years ago and my opinion was the same. This is a chain steak house but I see it more as a burger place. They also offer bunless burgers that come in a little pan with toppings and melted cheese. The onion soup is also great. The menu's are in French but there is a QR code on it to get the menu in English which is much appreciated. My only issue was that the server, although friendly, was very slow.

I arrived at Paris and looking for a late dinner at 22:30 and everyone just declined until I went to this restaurant. They were preparing to close but were very welcoming and served me a very nice meal while preparing to close. Always being super friendly

Staff could’ve been a little more attentive. Food was good, and it’s a great location. Had to ask 3 times for our check and the waitress kept taking orders while intentionally making us wait. Food was worth giving them a second chance.

It is a steakhouse with a variety of grilled meats. The steak I ordered was very good. However, the service is poor. the waitress was not attentive.

Bad quality of service. Food cold and very small portions, no menus in English. Interior are not inviting.
