Hippopotamus Arcueil

Was here a few years ago and my opinion was the same. This is a chain steak house but I see it more as a burger place. They also offer bunless burgers that come in a little pan with toppings and melted cheese. The onion soup is also great. The menu's are in French but there is a QR code on it to get the menu in English which is much appreciated. My only issue was that the server, although friendly, was very slow.

Staff could’ve been a little more attentive. Food was good, and it’s a great location. Had to ask 3 times for our check and the waitress kept taking orders while intentionally making us wait. Food was worth giving them a second chance.

The atmosphere and decor was great. The waitress was very slow and not attentive, a manager came over and was able to help us, he was terrific. Meals were delicious and offer some true French meals.

Very nice staff, accommodating. Food was great, burgers excellent. Very good cocktails also. Service was fast and efficient and convenient.

Bad quality of service. Food cold and very small portions, no menus in English. Interior are not inviting.
