Let me start by saying I have been waiting so long to try this place and now they have outside seating so we stopped by finally! We sat outside in the breezeway seating area which is different but neat for the plaza it is in. So they are now BBQ and Bourbon. Great place to position yourself next to a workout place and a kids gym place that was brilliant marketing if I must say so myself!!!! My husband and I chose His and Hers BBQ to cater our wedding, and we were thoroughly impressed. We had visited their restaurant once before for dinner, which was delicious, but they truly exceeded our expectations on our wedding day. Carrie was incredibly responsive and helpful, even inviting us in for a tasting prior to the event. During the tasting, her husband was there to assist us with pricing and details, and he was extremely accommodating. Our wedding guests raved about the food and claimed it was the best brisket they had ever tasted. Even the kids enjoyed it! This is easily some of the best BBQ in the area. Everything is cooked to perfection and packed with flavor. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich, which was incredibly tender and moist. The fries are freshly cut and fried in-house, and the mac and cheese is excellent, as is the rest of the meat. The corn nuggets were sweet and perfectly fried! The desserts are fantastic too. The only meat I found a bit dry was the pork steak I tried, but that was just one time. Overall, a great experience!

The BBQ here is incredibly tender and doesn't require a knife to enjoy. I ordered the Ultimate Platter, which included ribs, pork steak, and brisket. While everything was delicious, I would definitely come back for the brisket—the fat added just the right amount of juiciness. This is probably the best BBQ in St Louis. I was really surprised how great the food was. I tried all the BBQ places in town on a quest to find the best and this was the winner. You can tell they really care about the quality of food and they have best servers. My only critique is that they do use a lot of salt on their food and the pulled pork is super dry unfortunately. Also, the music is a little loud depending on where you sit but beyond that it’s good food.

This place is a must go of local BBQ places! Carrie and her husband mastered not only the art of BBQ, but their custom bourbon drinks and BBQ sauce are delightful adds. Not to mention they are super amazing people! Last night they housed our 50th birthday celebration and were super accommodating to our guests. Since the change in ownership, the new management has shifted their focus to the bourbon bar, which is understandable. However, the quality of the food has declined significantly, while prices have increased. It used to be my favorite BBQ spot in the area, but I can no longer say that. The service is decent, and the restaurant is clean.

We visited as part of a group tour, and the food was incredible! It was the best barbecue I've ever tasted. The service was friendly and quick, which allowed us to make our flights on time. I can't recommend this place enough!
