Historic Tapoco Lodge Resort

WO This place is magical! Get up is nice! First, Tapoco is a beautiful place surrounded by green and mountains! If you go in you, feel right at home. The people (Jaime Lee, Jaymee and Melissa, as we met) are SO WELCOMING and full of information about Tapoco and the surroundings! In the breakfast buffet (which was delicious) Patience waited for us and she was also welcoming and sweet as her cook was in the kitchen (do not get his name), he was sure that all of us had food! I said that the place is so CLEAN... which is refreshing! You also have a great gift shop with lots of fun for the house and candles etc. A suggestion I have is adding a few long sleeves wicking shirts to your listing of Tapoco Lodge. We were in a cabin and it was so cozy they have music playing when you open the door and mint on your pillow they really go the extra mile and the prices are not inflated because of this small but meaningful extras! We plan to be back and hope next time with our extended family and friends!

The Tapoco Lodge is a great place to get away and relax! The staff is very friendly, service in the Tavern is exceptional. We had awesome trout, chicken, and pizza during our one day stay. For me the pizza was the best, probably the best I have ever had!! Big Ed's in Oak Ridge TN was the best pizza I've ever had up till the Tavern's pizza. Of course the view from the patio may have made the pizza taste better!! Melissa at the front desk was very nice and accommodating as a host, we appreciate the welcoming, professionalism she showed toward us. Thank you all very much, we will be back

I enjoyed every second of my stay here. The cottage we rented was clean and very nice. The restaurant had great staff and wonderful food. I'd suggest the pizza! The view of the Cheoah River was the heart. Many hiking trails, tennis courts are available, and of course the river is there. Was neat to see all beautiful cars stop after the tail of the dragon!

On a rainy day of riding. Our server was Lindsey and she was very well prepared! We have a pizza that was a very close second place to my favorite. The lodge share looked very welcoming and we will certainly spend some time there when we are in. ML

We love eating here! Our server Lindsay was great! Food is always good. The view is relaxing. The place is so sweet. I always find something to bring home. We also had a great time to talk to Josh! Great atmosphere around : .
