Went on a thursday night with 3 friends the cafe was very quiet only 2 other tables taken. Had a recommendation from a friend who I dined with. She was very disappointed for her second visit and apologised for the bad pick for dinner. The decor is lovely its a good looking stylish cafe, but thats where it stops for me. Its been open since Feb but it felt like only for a few weeks. The wait staff were nice but not very efficient and considering the cafe was very quiet was a bit frustrating. Took about 15 mins to bring 3 of our drinks out then another 5 for the last drink. We received 3 menu's for 4 people and after asking for a 4th we still didn't get another menu. Having passed by History, the new cafe, several times in the last montjh, I decided to drop in and see what the new kid on the block is serving. The menu shows some imagination, and it will appeal to gourmets who want to have something a little different. History is open from 8 am for breakfast and is also open for lunch.I had an iced coffee, which was palatable, if a triffle on the expensive side. The usual mix of coffees is available, all prices around average. History stays open until around 3:30 pm. Service is prompt. History looks busy, a good start for a new entrant in the Keilor Road Coffee Strip environs. I will be returning to sample something from this tempting menu..From mid March...
This recently opened cafe ticks nearly every box. Friendly efficient service, delicious food and a relaxing decor. Very spacious, with comfortable seating in a diversity of arrangements. We had breakfast here - coffee, one of the best I have ever had and a menu to suit most palettes. The only let down was the music, too loud and not suitable for a cafe venue. Staff were very obliging when asked to turn the music down, actually said it was better for them also, but it was again turned up later. I believe the venue also operates as a bar later in the day, when the music would be more appropriate. Overall a very good experience - service, decor and food. Would definitely recommend a visit.
I am not writing a great review for this place. Firstly the steak that three of us ordered at $38 a head was turned out on a round slab of wood, lukewarm and sliced. The chips that accompanied it ..later, were shriveled and scrappy. I asked for my steak to be heated, it was no better when it was returned. I was chosen as spokesperson to speak to the owner who seemed quite reasonable at first although it was obvious he did noe appreciate us complaining. When I went to pay he came over yelling at me to get out and to never come back as I was rude to his staff. I will certainly never venture anywhere this restaurant again nor will my friends.

We came here on a return visit, for a Sunday catch up Lunch, and left feeling quite ill. Obviously a new menu, and possibly new staff?? Not much to choose from on menu, and what we chose was quite disappointing. There was grease running down our hands, and a huge lump of fat in my chicken "burger". Seriously has made us feel sick, and will definitely not be returning.
Stopped in on a Thursday night and was impressed with the social eats menu. A great place for a shared meal. The pulled pork sliders were divine and larger than expected and the hand cut chips were beautiful, we're told that they along with the bread are made from scratch in the kitchen! Overall a fantastic night out, will be back to work our way through the menu
Stopped by with friends to check out the much anticipated new menu... Was not disappointed! Staff are super friendly. Coffee is divine. Creative, seasonal dishes - love the new look and feel of the place. We will definitely be back!
My freinds told me that they had a new brunch menu .Had to check it out and have no regrets at all.The place to be as the menu is so modern and diffetent.The food complements the design and has a great flow and feel to it.

Great service and amazing tender food from the wood fire grill.Really taste the quality of the food not to mention the home made bread.
This museum is fantastic - I spent 3 hours but could easily have stayed longerThere are multiple levels of things to see and learn.
