We were delighted to see a Vietnamese restaurant open in the town. Today I went to give it a try. Such a disappointment. The ambience is there but the food freshness and presentation is lacking. We are used to Sappa Hills in Footscray. This scores half in comparison. At twice the price and half the quality it is a missed opportunity. I suggest the owners visit Sappa Hills and see how it should be done. Fried wonton served with a sliver of carrot. None of the fresh Vietnamese mint and lettuce that normally accompanies.Sizzling Mongolian beef. I love dining at Hoa Sen. In my opinion, it is the top Vietnamese restaurant in Yarraville. The food is authentic and bursting with flavor every visit. I always go for the pho, but decided to try something different tonight. We started with the salt and pepper egg tofu for appetizers, followed by the seafood laksa and chili lemongrass beef vermicelli bun. Everything was incredibly tasty.

We discovered this Vietnamese restaurant by chance after the movies. There is nothing flash about the decor but the food is excellent and very cheap. Lunch for the two of was $35, we shared 3 dishes and struggled to finish the third dish. Wine by the glass was reasonable too and good quality. Well worth the visit, would happily go back.

Living in the local area, it's great to find a place that serves decent sized dishes at reasonable prices. This is my go to when I don't have time to cook. It's vegetarian friendly, quick and delicious! Reserva una mesa ahora

Apart from the great food, the service is excellent. I was starving!! I was assisted with choices and specials of the day and was not disappointed. Modern and professional.

Just tried the beef with Chinese broccoli dish at this restaurant for the 20th time and it was amazing. Seriously, do yourself a favor and come try it!

Lovely, fresh, vietnamese food. Friendly and prompt service. We are so happy this restaurant has opened in Yarraville.
