Das Högers kann man ziemlich uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Das Essen ist prima, das Ambiente sehr ansprechend (rustikal und trotzdem modern) und der Service aufmerksam und flott und dazu sehr freundlich. Die Schnitzel sind sehr gut ... ob sie tatsächlich die besten der Stadt sind, wie auf der Speisekarte angedeutet ... nun das mag jeder für sich beurteilen, einen Spitzenplatz erreichen sie aber auf alle Fälle. Warum nur 4 Punkte? Preislich liegt das Högers für meinen Geschmack etwas zu hoch. Wenn beim 0.5l Bier die 6 Eurogrenze reicht wird, komme ich schon etwas ins Grübeln. ... und 3,50 Zuschlag für eine Sambalsauce zum schon nicht günstigen Schnitzel ist auch kein Schnäppchen. Perfect for enjoying a coffee during the day on the outside terrace or a beer in the evening in the rustic designed inside. Unfortunately, the food is not recommendable: The burger bun was flavourless and dry just like the meat which was far from being juicy and the fries were not crispy at all. The homemade brawn was labelled incorrectly as pig instead of chicken brawn, the selfmade remoulade tartar sauce was not recognisable as such. The service was forgetful but friendly. All in all, I do recommend this place for a coffee or beer but don't come for dinner or for brunch.
Die Küche überzeugt mit geschmackvollen Gerichten, die mehr als Hausmannskost sind. Bei Rouladen oder Matjes denkt man ja spontan daran. Und Lyns Weihnachtsdeko ist allemal ein Grund, sich das Restaurant mal von innen anzusehen. Sensationell. Ausserdem sind Lyn, Marcel und Michael bei allem Stress, mit dem die 3 den Service bewältigen, immer dem Gast zugetan.

at the högers I was recently a flame-cake meal including a glass spring-white. the service was very friendly and took care of us. we can also brunch what I'll try as soon as possible. great I find the concept of the högers, in vintage style what fits very well to old construction with the high ceilings. also the toilets correspond to the charm.
not least as a neighbor, I am Högers guest of the first hour. I like it there simply, the service is good and the eating delicious. next to the normal map, there is usually a seasonal map (e.g. at the saving time.) the högers is usually well visited and has a smoker room. ps. could only be summer so you can enjoy the spacious terrace.
Sehr angenehmes Restaurant, mit freundlichen Mitarbeitern, ausgezeichnetem Koch und Chef, der uns mit den Köstlichkeiten versorgt hat. Vorspeise und Hauptgang perfekt, passende Getränke und einen sehr guten Espresso zum Abschluss. Würden wir nicht über 500 km entfernt wohnen, dann kämen wir regelmäßig.
Waren heute das erstmal bei Högers. Vier Erwachsene und ein dreijähriges Kind. Das Essen SUPER, ob Vorspeise, Hauptgericht oder Nachtisch. Servicekräfte aufmerksam und sehr freundlich. Wir werden jetzt öfter hingehen.

Ich habe das Restaurant besucht und war begeistert. Das Essen war kreativ und lecker, der Service war freundlich. Das Ambiente ist gemütlich und einladend. Definitiv ein Ort, den ich gerne weiterempfehle!
Price performance doesn't fit. drink prices are completely overcrowded and 10€ for a curry sausage are also not acceptable!
