After moving to the newly renovated building in the heart of the old town of Hirschau, the Högers shine in a new glory. The tasteful interior design is also suitable for special occasions (company meetings, family celebrations etc. and invites you to stay together with the atmospheric background music chosen by the boss. I arrived at my hotel in Hirschau this evening for a business meeting tomorrow morning and was irritated to find that the hotels restaurant was closed on Monday. However I was directed to Högers by the hotelier and now, after a superb meal he is totally forgiven. On such a cold evening a warming soup beckoned and the Onion Soup was probably the best I have ever had. Next the Venison accompanied with mini dumplings and tempura battered vegetables. The batter was just so light and crisp! I hardly had room for sweet but as I gaze on the Panna Cotta I’m just about to eat I know that once more this evening I’ve made the perfect choice.
Waren um 18.30 Uhr im Lokal konnten um 19.05 Uhr Bestellung aufgeben bekamen um kurz vor 19.30 Uhr etwas zu trinken um 19,45 Uhr Gruß aus der Küche gegen 20.00 Uhr erste Tapas als Vorspeise gegen 20.30 Uhr den Rest. Geschmacklich war es sehr gut der Service eine absolute Katastrophe waren das letzte Mal da. Beim ersten Mal gab es auch Wartezeiten, aber die waren noch akzeptabel.
