I finally got to Hoey's. First, IT'S PIZZA AND SALAD, THAT'S IT. Second, the pizza is good. My problem is that it took so long to get it. I tried calling, but if they fall too far behind, they stop taking phone orders. I really wanted to try it based on reviews by Dave Portnoy and others, so I drove over to place my order in person. It took over 30 minutes to get my food. It was a busy Friday night, but wow. Seeing as how I had to pass 6 pizza places to get it I came from Brockton), I'm not sure it's worth the wait. If you are in the area and get the timing right, it's good pizza and salad for 20 bucks.
Wondering if I went on an off day. The pizza I got did come out hot yet was not as good as other reviews. Tasted more like frozen pizza than fresh. There were 3 people working yet on person serving the food had a long beard with no facial coverings. I did not get hair in my food yet can see how this could happen.My pizza was better as leftovers than at the table.

One of the popular pizza place Longwood said it will take 3 hrs to get ready so I decided to try this place. Wow. The pizza here are really good. Glad i came to this place and its very close to my house. Yea ! Hidden Gem ????.
