We ate here for the first time since the new boss (Koch). What an amazing difference! We ate from the asparagus menu that includes roast beef, roast pork medallions, carving and vegan / vegan options. I had pork roasts, boiled potatoes, and asparagus cream sauce and... a beautiful Merlot. My partner is the same, but with schnitzel and a 'tunkle', i.e. a dark wheat beer. We filled it with German cheesecake, 'Old German Cherry Cake' and coffee! Lekker! It was so good that there was no literal scrap on the shell. Bestellt hatten wir Tagliatelle mit Garnelen und Schnitzel Wiener Art. Die Tagliatelle kamen in sehr viel schwerer Soße daher mit wenigen Shrimps (fünf größere und eine kleine) und wenig Geschmack. Für den Preis hätte man etwas mehr Shrimps in der Soße erwartet. Meinem Mann hat das Schnitzel gut geschmeckt und er hatte wenig auszusetzen. Die Einrichtung ist sehr sehr schlicht. Schön ist der Blick direkt auf den Rhein. Die Bedienung war sehr nett und aufmerksam.
The waffles were not fresh, but heated frozen food. Even the purchased, packed waffles from the supermarket get away better. Absolutely no comparison to genuine Belgian waffles. We were expecting more. The waiter was very friendly, therefore 2 stars. It's a shame, because you can stay there.
We thought during a bike tour for a lunch in this restaurant we could see the river from the terrace so there is nothing wrong with the location. Although we were very hungry, we didn't like the food. The fries were half raw and tasty. My crocket had no taste at all.

Good food (we had a pork carving and haxe... huge portions), good beer (dark weizen) and on the Rhine promenade with a great view. Great service.
All right, had a good breakfast. In direct comparison with Schlemmerich I recommend going here. Chefkellner should be a little more friendly.
Latte Macchiato has no coffee flavor. The cappuccino is okay. If you want to have a bite to eat at lunch, it is impossible to make a choice
