Hofküche Cafe Medewege

Highly recommended. Attentive and friendly service. The café, complete with kitchen, is located in the heart of the Solawi Medewege (a so-called medewege farm) and offers a small but fine menu with very tasty dishes at reasonable prices. The farm is located in the countryside near Schwerin and is highly recommended for anyone visiting or living in the state capital.

All the seats inside were taken. However, they were immediately willing to make a dry spot for us on the terrace and extend the awning. The cake slices were a bit small for the price, but they tasted very good.

The farmhouse sandwich was very tasty, but definitely not worth the €17. Overall, it was rather expensive. Friendly service. No price or allergen labels at the cake counter.
