Hoffman's Ice Cream

Wonderful mom and pop ice cream shop and deli on Washington Avenue in Westminster MD. Great selection of sandwiches with a small convenience store. Lots of chips and drinks. Highlight is definitely the ice cream. Couple dozen flavors, all great. Shakes, floats, and sundaes. Cones, cups and to go 0ints and quart. Peppermint ice cream is fantastic. Lots of parking. No real outdoor seating, but plenty of space if you have your own chair. Highly recommended!!

I was born and raised in Westminster, MD, until we went overseas. We used to go to Hoffman after our baseball games and the ice was always amazing. As we visited Maryland, I brought my own children here and it was all as good as I remembered from my childhood years. The girls also loved it. And WOW that S'mores Sundae is incredible! Quaint little ice cream shop that stays busy. It really is no wonder they do stay busy too! Their ice cream selection is large and boy is it tasty! The staff is as sweet as the ice cream. They are a friendly lively bunch that make you feel right at home. You are treated like one of the family and not just as a guest. The prices are spot on. I got a coffee milkshake and I must say it was one of the best I've had!

I'm going to delicacies almost every day. Chicken salad is pretty good. I really enjoy their rolls. This place is known for its ice cream. Every year I get an ice cream cake for my birthday. This year I have three lol I recommend this place to all I know. The local family owns them and it has been a basic attitude in the community for decades.

This is one of our favorite spots in the area. We always make sure our freezer is stocked with the ice cream sandwiches! Line always goes fast too, which is a plus since it's so popular (and for good reason)
