K.C. BBQ Kenner here. This place can hold itself with any K.C. joint! I have the two meat-dinner ribs and hot compounds with potato salad and Slav. Potato salad and Slav were quite unnoticed. Not bad, just quite running the mill. The hot links were very good, with enough heat to make my forehead welding a bit. You get 5 stars for the ribs. Cooked on perfection... with the right amount of train, nice bark, great taste... don't have to be masked with sauce. My only suggestion is that they remove the membrane and they would be absolutely perfect! Well done Hog Wild! Next time I'm in Topeka.
From the state TEXAN decide to give some KC-style bar-B-Q. Brazen enough to go with my Texans from the grace of God's T-shirt. Manager took my order and offered some burned ends. We are very tasty and delicate. Sold my wife and mother-in-law on Brisket with a variety of slides. Brisket is chopped, not cut as it would be in Texas, but moist smokey and tasty. The parts were huge. Both ladies had meat to go! My ribs were well smoked and sown. Very delicate, but still on the bone, so you could easily peel the meat from the bone. Recommend the stop and check it out!
Hot BBQ is the name of the game at Hog Wild Pit Bar-B-Q. decent smoked bbq with good value is what I found here. I had the Carolina style and the pulled pig was soft and damp. The bungalow was really soft and had a good taste. The baked beans had their own unique taste and so the sauce selection. If you want hot and fast bbq, check out this place!
They made a mistake in expulsion like the main court Lol. But with a big smile and a huge apology, they bent back to make sure I was completely satisfied. We all make mistakes, but the manager was absolutely wonderful plus has great people skills. This is my Topeka BBQ place to eat.
