Hog's Australia's Steakhouse

I am so disappointed.I believe ‘Hogs Breath’ is a chain much like TGI Fridays. In this case the restaurant is situated in a prime position on Jetty road at Glenelg.So how can they get away with serving such awful food?I ordered a Burger and my partner ordered a Steak/Rib combo.The Burger.To start with, my fries were cold and greasy. In fairness, the salad bits & pieces were ok, but the bun was stale and the meat patty was just a tasteless disc of unseasoned cheap mush that had probably been in the freezer for months. Sadly gave the old Hogs a try for a family of 4. There has been a great deal of advertising lately for ribs meals. Sadly for a family cost close to $140. For this most meals only came with mash or chips - all extras such as salad and breads were even more $.The rib meals and dollop of mash were small for a $30 meal. The steak and ribs were tiny and for such a heft price tag not any value. Still hungry after dinner as you would think either a salad or veg with each meal would be included but you can only order chips/mash/veg or salad ! If you want more price goes up and all sauces are extra. The kids meal was 3 calamari rings and a few chips, baby size drink and one dessert sooon of ice cream...

My partner and I have been in Adelaide for a week and this is the worse food that we have had all week.My partner ordered ribs and they were the driest bits of meat we have ever seen, my shoe had more moisture in it. Her salad looked like it had been sitting there for a week waiting for someone to pick a side salad so it could finally be used.When my fishermans basket came out, the waiter dropped it on the table causing most of it to fall off the serving board. You could tell nothing was fresh and everything was frozen just thrown into a deep fryer.Would never return there

Usually okay here but legit terrible tonight. Visited at 830, thinking the dinner rush would be over , we were right. Ordered straightaway and then had to wait 45 minutes for our meals. In addition , they had no slow cooked steak. I'm assuming the chef was out the back taking an extended break, since a table of 5 (that got seated 15 mins after us) received ALL their meals only a little while after ours. To make matters worse, I emphatically ordered my steak as Medium but instead was given a steak as Rare as an Indian bloke named Smith. Would avoid at all costs. Reserva una mesa ahora

Came on a Thursday mid-afternoon, haven't been here in ages. We had a very kind and bubbly waiter look after us during our stay. Food and drinks were very quick, but it was a quiet time of day. Try the passionfruit and mint lemonade mocktail, it was so refreshing and delicious. The batter used on their fried food is crunchy and has a marvellous texture. We were able to change up our platter and add other sides all for a great price. Yes the food is just above average but I enjoyed my time and will be coming more often during the summer.

I travelled to the store with my family. Waited even 30 mins even though a table was free. I had previously booked the table and were forced to wait.Had to wait 90 mins for the main asked the waitress when it will occur said it would be very soon took a further 30 mins with no explanationPortion sizes were very poor for the prices we paid.My family and I used to love hoggs breath but the service had gone down and we won't be going again !!!

Was excited for ribs as i thought Hoggs Breath would be the place to go for good ribs. Very disappointing....they were so dry and not at all enjoyable.The salad i ordered looked and tasted like it had been made days ago.My partner had seafood and that was also very disappointing and the side of mash potato was watery.So overall, not somewhere I would recommend.

Visited tonight with the wider family, so 9 of us. We expect a good steak based meal and it was delivered. I had the steak with garlic prawns, medium, with veg and curly chips.  It tasted good and was certainly what I expected.  Service was timely.  Waitress was a little absent in terms of time but not too bad overall! I ordered from here about two weeks ago I ordered the steak and chips what I was served was a fatty piece of steak which I wouldn't feed my dog the chips were really good though.If they fix that cheap steak they serve it would be a great place to eat.

Good food at reasonable prices with good service leads to overall good experience.  Had a platter for 2 outside on the balcony on a nice night which was great. Maybe the music was a little to loud if I had to pick on something.
