Hoi Bo Chinese Restaurant

I have been enjoying food from the owners of the Hoi Bo for the past 52 years when it started back in Mt Hawthorn, then moved to City Beach as the Pearl Restaurant, then back to then to Bedford as the Ocean treasure and now it's latest incarnation the Hoi Bo. At each restaurant the food has been of the highest standard now I believe it is of the best. It can hold her head up high against the best restaurants in Hong Kong. The Soy Chicken is a must as is the Nasi Lemak, Japanese sizzling Tofu, Mee Siam and Char kway Teow and finally the Fried Banana and fried icecream.

We came for the Soy Chicken Rice based on some high recommendations and Hoi Bo did not disappoint! The starred dish was big and definitely a dish to be shared. The meat was moist and delicate, the garlic chilli sauce was just right to compliment the chicken rice. We also had chilli pepper pork chops and sambal greens. They are of pretty good standard, but the stand out would be the chicken rice. I would be back to try out the steam chicken version next. Service was prompt and friendly. Well done.

We regular come here for dinner as the food is very tasty and price is right. Menu offers a wide range of choices. Service is quick and staff are friendly. Highly recommend the fried rice with salted fish.

Normally I do not want to give bad comments to anyone, but this restaurant is awful .Terrible food .Terrible service !

Love this place, has been my favorite since 2013. The food is just great and it takes only minutes to get your order!
