I ordered an egg and bacon sandwich on a roll with salt and pepper, but no cheese. The menu board advertised the sandwich for $5.55, but the woman at the register charged me $9.99, claiming that prices had changed. When I questioned the significant increase, she explained that the prices on the board did not include tax. I was still taken aback by the steep price hike, and she pointed to a disclaimer on the wall stating that prices are subject to change and do not include tax. I noticed that the man who ordered after me was charged the board price. I was not happy with this inconsistent pricing and will not be returning to this restaurant.
The bagels and egg sandwiches here are always good. Unfortunately, the same can't be said about the owner. She is nasty, rolls her eyes and is extremely rude to customers. The only reason why I still go here is because they're the only bagels my kids like. They're also more expensive than the other bagel stores in the area. Otherwise, save your time and money. There are a ton of other good bagel shops in the area that don't come with a high price tag and a nasty attitude.
I ordered a bagel from this restaurant and was disappointed to see that it looked nothing like the ones advertised in the store window. My bagel was burnt and the dough was soft, lacking the usual chewiness. The toppings were also burnt, making the overall experience unpleasant. There were no tables and only self-serve coffee available. I would recommend going somewhere else for a better dining experience.
As someone who is pretty frugal I can’t go here anymore. Charging $6.75 for an egg sandwich and not even including a small coffee with it is ridiculous. Bagel Brothers down the street has a $4 egg sandwich and it’s much bigger. Unlike most of the comments, I always chose to go to Holbrook Bagels because I found it fast. In and out. But at this point I’d rather wait and not get robbed

Today's date is June 24, 2023 and I just ordered a dozen bagels. These bagels are the best on Long Island. You have to try them yourself and you will agree that they are the number one choice on Long Island. You haven't truly experienced bagels until you've tried these. Yes, they are that amazing!
The best!!! Better than all other delis in area, best bagels real NY style bagels. And better pricing than most places. Place nextdoor by CVS charges $1 more for smaller bagel not as good. Go here for real NY bagels!!
if your looking for good bagels GO TO Holbrook bagel!!!! this is the only bagel store i would go to!! bagels are so big fresh and delicious!!! i always get a dozen and freeze them to always have!!
I think the Asian lady who works here is the nastiest woman I’ve ever met. She prices things incorrectly and is just overall rude.

Come here every morning to grab a coffee and bagel. Bagels are always fresh, and the service is super fast.
Best Flagel selection in town for my wife. Their red velvet cupcake isn't bad either
