Got told about this place by a friend and thought it sounded good so we booked for the other Sunday and my wife and I went over and it was fantastic, great place, a proper hidden gem, live music and she was brilliant sorry don’t know who she was food amazing and staff absolutely fantastic. We had a few dishes from Ribs, Wings, Duck, Garlic Prawns, Spring Rolls and they were all cooked to perfection, places like this are hard to find outside of big cities like Manchester but whomever has bought this place and made it into this great eatery needs a pat on the back. I’m a big believer in a good place to eat needs to be visited again to make sure that we didn’t just get a lucky meal so we have just returned for an early tea and again the food was outstanding, the waitress was really nice, very chatty and very efficient In taking order and getting drinks but also looked after us all meal, the food was even BETTER than the first time we went so I can only say if you get chance then go, we have told loads of people about this place and cannot wait to return with friends, we’ll done Holcombe Tap and the staff you have a brilliant place to come and enjoy great food.

we have taken a friend here for lunch, a little drive for us, but she doesn't live too far. it was worth the trip, both eating and the beer were excellent. it is worth going as a group as the menu has small dishes, so with a group you can choose many more to share among them. beautiful ambiente and long after eating and drinking we stayed on to chat as they cleaned up for the evening and it was nice that she didn't mind and did not try to throw us out what was really nice of them. I'm sure you're worth a visit.

that's the third time we were, there's nothing to blame, whatever. in fact in the opposite. excellent service, fantastic eating, great atmosphere, the whole package. young workers who are attentive, pleasant and professional, in contrast to the wrong 'hi guys' they get from some places. I can not appreciate the whole experience enough and happy to give a deserved glowing review.

Actually, this place was unrealistic. the best muddy heirs I ever had, and eating, service and total value ratio were not the same. I can honestly say that was one of the best meal I had this year.

beautiful modern pub with a cozy rustic charm. very friendly staff, great tasty pub eating. beautiful cocktails. covered outdoor seating area, ideal for warm sunny days.
