"Interesting experience but I will probably stay somewhere else next time. There are multiple separate buildings for this resort and unfortunately our building, the Ridge Crest Building, was a the farthest away from the clubhouse. So anytime we wanted to go to the pool, gym, or restaurant we had to drive there (or you can walk the steep one mile incline). There were a few minor inconveniences including that the sauna didn’t work, the Internet didn’t work, AC didn’t work, and the TV clicker didn’t have batteries. The room had a living room with a full kitchen, full bathroom, and bedroom which was nice. This place would probably be more fun in winter with a family and they do have lockers for...

Our stay was from July 22 through July 29, 2023, however we decided to leave a day early but really wanted to leave as soon as we arrived. Here are the reasons:On July 22 arrived and went to our suite. Either the housekeepers didn’t realize the fireplace was on or they turned it on. It was 90 degrees outside and about the same or more in our suite. A call to services requesting fans and why only seemed to get a snarky response about just wanting to give us “ambience”. We found a cooling box (in which you add water) and a rotating fan in the room. Ceiling fans were on, and we obtained 2 more box fans. The room barely cooled down. There is no air conditioning. It would be nice to open the windo...

We just checked out of the hotel and while we were driving down the road to tleave the property I promised myself I would be back. We stayed on floor 8 of the Plaza Tower the last week of July. Pro: Location View from our room Super Clean Excellent beds and pillows Spacious (one bedroom with full kitchen, din ing area and large living room with new sectional sofa) Liz the front desk manager who fixed our problems quickly Mini golf course that was very clean (housekeeping was sweeping it with a broom and dustpan) Air conditioner/swamp cooler in the closet should you need it (we didn 't because when we were in our room we opened the windows, put the box fan in one, and opened the front door a...

Unfortunately, we did not have the best experience at The Tahoe Ridge Resort. It's clearly more of a ski resort, than a summer one! There is no AC in the rooms, and with Global warming, this makes for a very uncomfortable stay. Yes, there are fans and even a portable AC unit, but nothing was able to cool the room! Even the Gym had NO AC! Also if you went out at night, we would come back with NO parking spots available. Too many of the parking spots were taken by construction trucks and equipment. I was also disappointed that there was no where to sit on the PickleBall courts! It's a strenuous sport and it was hot, so after playing a game there were no benches or seats of any kind! Also, goin...

The unit itself was great. A little dated but very comfortable. We were all there for the Celebrity Golf tournament. Shuttle service times are horrible, golf tournament or not. Also they in no way can accommodate all that wish to use the shuttle. The worst part is how hot the unit is and no A/C! It might not have been such a big issue if they had not screwed the windows shut. You can only open them about 2 inches. Just plain stupid! The nights get very cool in Tahoe which if the windows could have been opened, along with the ceiling fans, would have cooled the bedroom and the unit for sleeping very nicely, We were fortunate to have a unit on the backside away from the afternoon sun and yet w...
