American Airlines should be ashamed. They did it again and had a delay at one location which caused passengers to have to miss their connecting flight. This happens a lot with them so I was not surprised. What did surprise me was the fact that they would not accommodate two underaged young ladies who flew on British Airlines (one of their sister airlines) with a room at their partner Holiday Inn which was below my standards (soiled room carpet, nasty elevators, less than pleasing food selections at a moderate to high cost, and filthy corridors). The two teenagers (18 and 19) were clueless on how to resolve the matter and British Airlines' employees were extremely rude and unprofessional when...
Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place. Flight was canceled and of the three options picked this one bc had a 24/7 shuttle since had to be back at 4:30 a.m. I knew I had made the wrong choice when I started to leave shuttle a set down on a broken seat belt latch that was just squire sharp metal. It pierced threw my pants, underwear, and skin. When I said something to the front desk clerk that was clearly the one in charge, had not care at all about it or at making sure it was fixed. Then got up to the room which was clean enough, but needed some TLC. The bed was very comfortable. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast in the restaurant was very good. The airport shuttle service was easy to use. The shuttle provider they use to the sea port was easy to use and very helpful.
We stayed at this hotel after our anniversary cruise in February of 2023. We spent a day in Miami before catching a flight out the next day. We had called in advance to inquire about early check-in and had some difficulty. When we finally checked in and saw the facility, it was very dated and nothing like any of the Holiday Inns I have ever stayed at before. Terrible hotel experience! The odor of old carpeting is overpowering. The pillows had a sweat smell, forcing me to use a towel to cover them. The location is not ideal, as there’s nothing nearby. Regarding the rooms: they did some minor renovations in the bathroom, which looks new, but the TV is at least 15 years old and stuck to the table. Despite the updates, the smell is just intolerable.
I have visited this property several times, most recently last night. The location is perfect for the airport, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean, the restaurant prices are fair, and the rooms are tidy and equipped with all the necessary amenities. I plan to continue staying here in the future and would highly recommend it to anyone.
I chose this hotel for the free airport transfer. I wish it had complimentary breakfast but there is a lovely restaurant/bar on the top floor where you can eat, drink and watch the planes take off and land.Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable.As a Platinum member I had a choice between a complimentary cocktail or IHG points.
I was booked into this hotel by American Airlines after missing my connecting flight. The hotel is clean, and the rooms are quite spacious. I really enjoyed the Tuscan sandwich I had.
