We happened upon this place on recommendation of our hotel clerk. It was Good Friday and wanting a traditional fish dinner we thought we struck gold. I had to read some other reviews to see if our experience was worth commenting on. I actually started laughing out loud telling my wife we're not the only ones! We were seated with a friendly come hither and our younger waitress took our order and brought our drinks in blue plastic glasses with clear glasses filled with crushed ice and I was thrilled to think that was done for those that don't like ice in their beverages! I guess it was for the pitcher of water on the table. We ordered the baby flounder all you can eat well she brought the food...

Worst seafood experience I have had in a very long time. Scallops are not true scallops. All the same size. Stringy and no sweet, buttery flavor. None! Over breaded, over cooked oysters and bland, tasteless trout. Thought I could possibly have covid because nothing had any flavor. Slaw was run of the mill, fried okra can't really be messed up. Tea was on the better side than most restaurants. Most expensive tea, hushpuppies and okra I ever consumed! You've been informed.

The restaurant is known for its delicious fried food, with a vibe reminiscent of a fish camp. However, I observed a worker bussing tables and cleaning, then proceeding to roll silverware without washing his hands in between. Despite bringing this issue to the attention of management, they did not respond with any concern.

Service is great. Seafood now days is expensive anywhere you go. I don't mind paying as long as it good. I got a whole flounder plate it had to be fryed for at least 30 minutes. Way way over cooked. I try to do business with local folks. That is unacceptable. Reserva una mesa ahora

The only positive aspect was the excellent service. The sea scallops were cut into small thirds, which was disappointing. Additionally, the fries were undercooked and the rest of the food was unremarkable. I would not recommend wasting your money here.

The fried sea trout was delicious, but the vegetables were overcooked and mushy, resembling baby food. It's recommended to ask for any additional items you may need at the start of your meal, as your server may not return promptly.

Great place to get some good Barbecue ' pulled or chopped. Lots of sides and also a very good buffet with some great chicken . A country setting with really friendly folks.

Food was excellent. Waitress was nice and friendly, but not attentive. She kept forgetting things we asked for. Maybe overwhelmed with tables, I'm not sure.

Good home style cooking and great people there, the waitresses and the customers. If only they had Chow Chow for the black eye peas.... Lol!
