Holy Cow BBQ Culver City

I was really excited to try this cool looking BBQ spot for lunch and when walking in I was impressed by the decor. It was modern and clean, but still had a BBQ vibe. The menu looked great with a lot to choose from, so after being told The Hog sandwich was an employee favorite, I went with that. I was thoroughly impressed by the size of this sandwich. It was smoked pulled pork stuffed in between a buttery bun with slaw, Carolina sauce, crispy onion straws and pickles. It alsocame with a side of collard greens that were mixed with large chunks of bacon and a cookie. The portions were really great and I knew that it would definitely fill me up. The collard greens were delicious and the cookie was good, but thesandwich left me disappointed. The flavors were there, but the meat was extremely cold. Like, straight out of the refrigerator cold. It may just be how they make their sandwiches, but, when I eat bbq I expect it to be warm and juicy. Thatjust wasn?t the case. I may try Holy Cow again because I could tell there were a lot of other great meals, but this time I was disappointed.

Was told the big sampler would feed 3-4 people.. it?s not enough.. thankfully I ordered the chili mac on the side too. The big sampler will feed 2 people without the chili mac. Their portion isn?t big.. probably eating at the restaurant would be different.. I was disappointed since it was a birthday dinner for my boyfriend.. we ate everything except half of chili mac and mashed potato.. it won?t feed 3-4 people.. the sauces weren?t bbq. They have different sauces but Idon?t think it matches well? probably just isn?t my taste.. might try again..

We came across this Wonderful BBQ Hangout in Culver City. Attracted by its wonderful aroma ???? as we walked to Blaze Pizza we made a detour. As we walked in we were greater by an amazing young man, which made our day with his wonderful personality service, he placed our order and we chose our seating area. The wait time for food was about 10 minutes. ALL I CAN SAY IS WONDERFULLY AMAZING ???? We will be back again for more....the Tri tip ???? melts in your mouth. Againexcellent Food and customer service.

The service was great. The food a little bland for my taste. May be great for someone else though. The parking was a little crowded on Saturday evening. Valet option also.

One of the go-to's for my bbq fix. Best thing on their menu is honestly the bread rolls and sweet potato with sweet butter! TO. DIE. FOR.
