This restaurant is poorly managed. My family and I, with a toddler, walked into an empty space and waited 55 minutes for our food. After 35 minutes, we started asking what was going on and were told there were a lot of large orders causing delays. I have two requests for the owner: 1) Please inform customers of long wait times before they order, especially when children are involved. Anything less is disrespectful. 2) Hire someone who can manage orders and who enjoys working with people. The lack of attention to our wait and the feeble excuse that the food was freshly made sealed the deal for me to write this review, despite my desire to support local businesses. My family and I attempted to dine at this restaurant last Sunday evening and it was the worst experience we've ever had. Our food orders came to over $100, but after waiting over 30 minutes, we still had not received our meals. The waiter brought out a small order of fries and assured us that the rest of our food would be coming soon. Another 20 minutes went by with no food in sight, so I asked the manager to cancel the order and refund our money. Instead of issuing a refund, the manager charged us double! A colleague directed me to Kosher Holy Schnitzel. Normally, I don 't expect much from a kosher sandwich shop outside the city. Normally, I just hope it 's edible. Quite the opposite for Holy Schnitzel. I ate the signature Holy Sandwhich, kinda like a hoagie and kinda like a poboy, but really, it 's own thing. It was scrumptious, I gobbled it all down with a cold soda pop. Usually, sauces, for me, are just lame combos of general food stuff, like McDonalds ' Thousand Island, so-called 'secret sauce '. I usually don't write reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience at this restaurant. After ordering a combo meal and a sandwich, we waited a whopping 45 minutes before our food was ready. During this time, we could hear constant arguments coming from the kitchen area. When our food finally arrived, we discovered that the bun in the combo meal was completely undercooked. We brought this to the attention of the cashier, who did not offer an apology and simply rewrapped the sandwich. I recently placed a large order for my office from this restaurant. Unfortunately, the food arrived 30 minutes late (even though we are only 3 minutes away). By the time it arrived, everything was wilted due to the heat. Two of my colleagues were unable to eat their meals because the Schnitzel was dry and overcooked. I considered calling to ask for a replacement order, but my colleagues decided against it. We will not be ordering from this restaurant again.
Ordered chicken shawarma in a pita and a Snapple. If you like small portions of rubbery chicken that’s still pink in the middle, covered in what appeared to be the world grossest potato salad, all for just a hair over 20$ you will not be disappointed.
