We chanced on Cafe Waschsalon as my twin brother Stephen and I were wandering around this part of town and what a great find. A really nice cafe with a cool interior with great decor and furnishings including parts from washing machines included in the decorative scheme,it looks cool and gives the cafe an edgy look. We were here on a Monday afternoon and this cafe was just starting to get busy with a great atmosphere,we got a nice table were a very pleasant member of staff took our order of a couple of flat white coffees and after a short wait our coffees arrived steaming hot and we just chilled out and soaked up the great vibe in this busy and popular cafe. Stopped here for a coffee. Place is decorated with parts from washing machines. Drum cylinders act as lamp shades. Friendly service from the young girl serving. We had great coffees and decided to snack with open rolls with salmon and tomato and lettuce. Enjoyed the experience.

Being non-german speakers we had a lovely waiter who helped us with the menu. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The restaurant started packing up around 830 as it becomes a nightclub later in the evening. The only down fall was that they only accept cash..no cards.

Nice cafe in a popular shopping district. Stopped in for a quick bite late on a Sunday night. Young, quite crowd. Interesting decor, wash machine basins used as a light fixtures. Non-tourist vibe.

We accidentally came upon this place as we were looking for a place for a drink. Excellent service, friendly staff, we sat outside and the atmosphere is great .
