During our recent bike trips, we dined at Home Plate twice in the last month. The homemade food was outstanding and prepared from scratch. The blueberry and savory crepes were both delightful. On our second visit, I wanted to try the savory crepes, but they were a special that day; instead, I opted for the corned beef hash, which was exceptional and also homemade. We also savored the Florida Benedict, while my husband couldn't resist ordering the blueberry crepes again. I treated myself to the apple strudel, which came with ice cream and homemade whipped topping. My family and I visited this restaurant based on its reviews. We went there before the spring training game. I ordered the avocado toast and the French toast with a blueberry compote. All dishes we ordered received a rating of 7 or higher. The French toast was outstanding, and the blueberry compote was steaming hot. The whipped cream was homemade, which made it even more delicious. In total, I would rate this restaurant a strong 8.5. Their prices were reasonable for the quality of food they offered. Im leaving a happy customer!
Food and atmosphere are excellent, The waitresses are working hard non stop, this is a very busy spot, they need at least three more servers, self-serve coffee or leaving a carafe on every table would help speed things up with coffee refills and ease the strain on the servers
The food and service were outstanding. It's a charming little café where you can walk in and seat yourself. The coffee was warm and freshly brewed. Breakfast was reasonably priced and cooked to perfection. The waitress was very attentive.

Cozy little breakfast place, with indoor and outdoor seating. Familiar favorites with some unique offerings as well. Right across the street from the Toronto Bluejays training field. I stop here every time I'm in Dunedin!
This is a hidden gem in Dunedin. The back patio is right on the trail. Went for breakfast twice in 2 separate visits. Food is excellent... service exceptional. Cutest decor. Can't wait to go back.???
Weekends are busy so wait staff are not the fastest but the food and atmosphere more than make up for it. It's always a home run at Home Plate!
Great atmosphere. Delicious German staple food. Excellent staff. I love the Beer Garden style scenery. One of my favorite restaurants
