Home Sweet Home is the most fitting name for this awesome cafe/gift shop You truly do feel so welcomed by the two delightful staff members and the awesome food. I was shocked at the low prices they charge for their incredible home cooked treats and lunch type meals. The two staff members made you feel like you were at home, so welcoming and kind they definitely added to the already fantastic experience. The Chocolate Coca Cola cake was delicious, a seemingly odd combination works really well!!! The gifts were awesome and examples of local talent, showing this cafes representation of its community! This cafe is a jewel in Donaghadee. From the minute you open the door until the minute you leave the customer is made to genuinely feel welcome. Something that is missing in other places (not Donaghadee I hasten to add). There is a warm friendly atmosphere. The menu is familiar and beautifully presented on dainty China. A welcome addition in the cafe is a range of books, cards and gifts. Upcycling is encouraged through the sale of Annie Sloan paint. All baking is home made, a visit is a must.
This is a homely and comfortable cafe, full of conversation and warmth. All the food is home cooked and made to perfection. The venue is full of colour and creativity, with lots to pass your eyes over whilst you enjoy your time in the company of other patrons. A friendly, relaxed atmosphere for you to unwind in which I found absolutely delightful.
We visited this amazing little cafe on our Northern Ireland holiday. It was delightful. We had the best coffee of our holiday with delicious cakes. We were given such a warm welcome that we actually returned on our way to the airport for one last coffee.

As any good Irish person will tell you, their granny makes the best apple tart, and any you get in a cafe, etc, isn't just as good. But Rhonda's, from home sweet home, Donaghadee, is Granny good. Absolutely divine 5*
The service was excellent, the food was fantastic, and the staff were very welcoming. They are the best in town and I highly recommend this restaurant. The little shop attached is also a great idea.
We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Home Sweet Home. Beautiful, home cooked food and very friendly service. We'll be back again soon for some of the desserts.
There is no place like it. A warm welcome, friendly atmosphere, delicious homemade food, amazing coffee, and impeccably clean. Couldn't ask for anything more!
