Best bbq I ever had, all in SC seems a mustenfein flow (sweet and tangie) in NC we prefer more of a vinegar base style, with some spices. This place falls into its own category! There is nothing on the menu that is disappointed! In fact, home team does not seem in a kind of bbq, all their sauces are house made and there is something for all!!! The smoked wings are incredible, the pulled pig is a perfect blend of bark and damp smoked meat, the Brisket is my FAVORITE!! I'm around 1 o'clock with a friend to lunch here. they had immediate sitting outside, but we decided to wait 10-15min for a sitting inside (it was like 95 degrees outside the staff were friendly and attentive. I ordered two slides pulled pork and brisket and side of crooked greens. wait for dinner. the slider came on kings Hawaii rolls with claws and pickles. both tasted brilliant. the brisket was right. wet, tender. inlaid pork also on place. the greens were good, but for my tastes it went a bit over on the vinegar. my friend got her house specialburger and said it was excellent. The restaurant is really cool and the service was excellent. However, I was not impressed with the food. My father ordered the turkey plate and thought it was very good, but I tried the 3-meat plate and not all of it was satisfying. The plate included pulled pork, a cheddar jalapeño sausage, and brisket. I also had a side of mac and cheese and Hatch chile rice. The pulled pork and sausages were delicious, especially with their flavorful sauces. Unfortunately, the brisket was tough and not very enjoyable, especially considering the extra cost. I love this place so much. A buddy of mine took me awhile ago touting the best wings ever , and was dead on. I haven 't tried anything here that disappointed. The sides are all awesome (especially the collard greens), all the meats are fantastic, the atmosphere is great and the bar has a ton of good beer on tap. They generously donated to a fundraiser my business was having for West Ashley High recently as well. For a business with multiple locations, they definitely don 't forget the little guys. I really like this place. Nachos are good. Pulled pork is good and that’s my go to. My first visit i did a wrap and it was mostly rice beans. I give restaurants 3 tries. I’ve been 5 or 6 times now. Just wish everything was hotter when served. Even If its 90 degrees I want a hot sandwich. Its doesn’t stop me from going i just feel hotter tastes better. The hostesses are always nice and service is fast priced well. The other location serves hotter meals. WA needs to work on that.

Almost back-to-back are Home Team BBQ and Lewis Barbecue. Each has its proponents in Charleston. Lewis is better at the meat and gives huge servings. Home Team is better at the sides. At Lewis you have to stand in line and order at the counter whereas Home Team has table service. Lewis is beer wine while Home Team has a very large, full bar. I wish that I could get the better points of each.

Down home vibe with cool outside patios. Super friendly staff and amazing food! You have to try the fried pigskin app, served with pimento cheese for dipping! Awesome! I had the pulled pork platter with two sides. It was a healthy portion and could have fed two! Excellent tap and bottle selection of beer. Tops on list for our return trip!

We had one of our most enjoyable meals in Charleston at this restaurant! The ribs and wings were delicious, and our server Jojo was fantastic. We will definitely be back next time we are in town! Reserva una mesa ahora

mac n käsestiche brisket was? best bbq they find this side of west ashley. Eat quickly came out super. not complaining here! Maybe some more suspected aromen of ships add wheel?
