The restaurant quickly filled up after we arrived, but the staff remained friendly and handled the busy atmosphere smoothly. Our coffee cups were consistently refilled, and every dish we tried was tasty. I highly recommend this spot. Prices are quite reasonable; however, they only accept cash or checks, so be sure to bring some with you. Since most places take credit cards nowadays, it’s a good idea to stop at an ATM before visiting.

We loved having breakfast at Homemade Kitchen two days in a row thanks to the great service and delicious food. The same waitress served us both mornings and did an amazing job, even though she was the only server for the whole dining area. She was extremely friendly and attentive. Their homemade jelly is absolutely wonderful! Plus, the prices are very affordable.
I was searching for a good breakfast joint and this came up in the best breakfast restaurants near Livingston area. Me and my friend ordered mediterranean melt and veggie delight which comes with a toast as a side. The hash browns sautéed with veggies was very tasty. Homemade Kitchen provides a consistently satisfying breakfast. The dishes are tasty with ample portions. Despite being the sole server, the waitress was polite and efficient. Prices are fair for the Livingston area. Parking may be a bit tight. Seeing many older locals enjoying their meals was a great sign of the restaurant’s quality!
We had breakfast here two days in a row because we were impressed with both the service and the food. Our same waitress took care of us both days, and she did an exceptional job managing the whole room while being very pleasant. They also make their own jelly, which is delicious! The prices were very reasonable as well.
just a good breakfast. large tasting eating and good portions. the waitress was polite and fast, although they were the only person waiting tables. good price for livingston area. parking is a little tight when we came in, I saw many older natives sitting at the tables. a note, this place is good!
I had takeaway lunch today and enjoyed a delicious buffalo chicken wrap along with fries. This place is incredibly busy! The staff is very friendly and well-organized. I had lunch here yesterday and returned for breakfast today. Everything is homemade! It’s a charming family-run restaurant with the daughter serving as the waitress. It's definitely worth a visit. I even bought some homemade peach jelly to take back home with me!
