the greeting we received was beautiful and continued. we had a common starter to start with which freshly cooked and very tasty especially the kebab. for the main had my man fish and chips with sampi, which was very well cooked. I myself had the hühnerburger, who was very tasty, the chips beautiful and crispy. the beer of the abbot was well kept and well tasted. highly recommended.

Our group of ladies received a really warm, friendly welcome from Lynn, who looked after us brilliantly all evening. She took our various orders efficiently and with good humour. Our meals were tasty; various members of staff checked that we were happy with everything and Lynn ensured that even the picky person (me! rounded off the evening enjoying a perfect coffee. Thanks, Lynn!

My partner and I went out for the valentines for their three course deal for 26 pounds. It was very good value for money the food was lovely as it always is. The service was brilliant we had Lynne looking after us and had a lovely evening in a nice atmosphere. Would recommend!

A great clean and friendly pub with a calm atmosphere. Had a two course evening meal, the food and service were both excellent.
