Will not win any competitions but definitely a must if you are in the area looking for a good meal. More on the savoury side of bbq, love how sugar is not the main ingredient. The beans are a surprising must, same with the ultra cheesy Mac. The meats do steal the show, a bit on the dry side of things but I can blame it on the time of day we came in (close to closing). Very good flavour palate.
We were looking for a place for lunch in our way home from up north and came across Hometown Smokehouse so jumped off the highway to check it out and we're so glad we did! We got pulled pork and Mac and cheese and oh my goodness. The food was excellent and staff were just lovely. Definitely small mom pop bbq place but exactly what you want if you're looking for good bbq.
I ordered the family meal, and it was outstanding. The meat, especially the chicken, was tender and full of flavor. The staff was very friendly and provided quick service. My entire family enjoyed the meal I brought home. I will definitely be returning. Also, I should mention that the place is impeccably clean and well-organized. This restaurant is truly a gem!
$16 for 1/2 pound of brisket and 2 very small sides. Service was very friendly, food was ok. Didnt realize they had mac n cheese, it's not written on the menu. Used them for my wedding catering and they did the best job ever! I had 75 guests and everyone absolutely loved all the food. Guests have been reaching out asking where the food was from and if I had any leftovers! Very reasonably priced and extremely delicious. Extremely accommodating and kind owners.
With out a doubt one of the greatest smokehouses out there. Top notch food anything you pick you can't go wrong with. The owner and staff are so welcoming and nice. Really if your in town a must stop and don't be shy order a slab to pick and take home for the week you'll be happy you did!!!
Came in 10 minutes before closing time and was still able to get a great meal.I had a pound of baby back ribs with mac and cheese.Wife said the pulled pork sandwich was really good, and our toddler liked the chicken.

My go to is the pulled pork, it never disappoints! And I can say they have the best Brisket I have ever had. The place is always clean and the service is always quick. Can’t beat it!
