Bought takeaway and was very impressed. Delicious satay combination, but only one prawn was a bit tight! The sweet and sour chicken is delicious. Not the traditional battered balls, but two yummy, tender whole breasts in a light batter, thinly sliced. Fried rice tasty, but not much in it sorry from rice and a small amount of ham and a few peas. The sesame prawns weren't what I expected, probably wouldn't bother with them again. Overall, will go back.
Read some good reviews on eating out tassie and figured would give this suburban Chinese a go. Was both surprised and impressed with the food. Moreton Bay bugs with ginger garlic and veggies was great. One of the best Chinese satay beefs in a long time and a good combination omelette to boot. Fine dinning it isn't but god value excellent food and good honest service. Will give the take out a run next and look forward to returning soon.
Lunch with a couple of mates, unfortunately we all chose the same entree (dim sims) and main (combination seafood) with steamed rice. We all enjoyed our meals, plenty of oldies came in for their lunch and all seemed to enjoy their time there. 4 home made dimmies for under $7 was pretty good value and the seafood was well cooked across the board and very tasty. None of us left hungry.
We were going to the hotel next door but it was closed that Sunday evening. So we went to the Hong Kong Restaurant instead. Our meals were delightful so much so that my wife commented that her meal was the best Chinese she could recall. That is a big statement for her to make as she is now 60+ and has had many Chinese meals in her life. Would definately recommend! Reserva una mesa ahora
First visited this restaurant with 12 friends a few weeks ago. Enjoyed it so much we returned with another couple and had a banquet again. Food was delicious on both occasions. Service was prompt. I noticed on both occasions that this restaurant was very popular. I can't wait to go back yet again. I highly recommend if you are looking for excellent Asian food.
Food very tasty and would be one of the best Chinese restaurants we have been toOutstanding. Highly recommend a visit if staying in area. You should not be disappointed. This restaurant is equal to the flower drum in little Bourke Street Melbourne. Would love to go back there but unfortunately we are touring and have not got time
Phoned through a takeaway order 15 minutes before arriving, was not ready when arrived and had to wait another 15 minutes before receiving our order. The ginger chicken was dry and the 'large' rice was not large by definition. Food generally tastes good but the slow service is just unacceptable.
Great place for your standard Chinese. Fresh, generous servings and well priced. Curry spring rolls (different but Nice), and char sui with veggies worth an extra mention. Excellent service. Recommend for locals and visitors Reserva una mesa ahora
We had a lovely meal, service was prompt and efficient. Prices reasonable too. I had the best ever Cantonese beef! Decor very nice, and tables not all squashed together.
