So I came here to the Hook Reel in Elmwood Park NJ. Ordered a seafood boil, catfish bowl, and a ginger ale with ice on the side. When my drink came I said, “ oh, excuse me I wanted the ice on the side.” The server at the register is ho took the order seemed to have an attitude about changing the soda with putting the ice on the side in a smaller drinking up. When she returned with the ginger ale and a “SOUP” cup with ice in it. I found out that allegedly whom ever was working in the back got angry with her for pouring out the ginger ale with the ice. I’ve been to many boils, and hook and reel locations but THIS ONE was phenomenal. Not only was the waiter really attentive but the food was at perfect temperature. I ordered a half pound of shrimp head off and scallops. Often times at boils the shrimp don’t be well cleaned but this one was cleaned to perfection, and texture of the scallops was very good. I highly recommend if you never went to a boil, or a hook and reel or even if you did to try this one out. 5 out of 5Parking: The lot is shared with many places in which services each establishment with many parking spaces.
The food was cooked well and fresh! Drinks were extremely weak especially for the price you pay! Had 3 drinks and was perfectly fine because they mostly pertained juice. They don't have specials the way the other locations do, but the service there is much better than the other locations! If you want good food and good service definitely a place to go. If you want a few drinks and fun atmosphere then I suggest going to a different location.

Great, Friendly and the food was on point. I suggested this as an option the flavors were there for my daughter and our waiter gave us all the best run down. This was my daughters first time so. Definitely go and enjoy.
The staff is extremely friendly, and the food is fresh and delicious. Be sure to check out their specials! For similar dishes, their prices are lower than those of other places I know.
