The Hop Friar is a traditional pub with a nice modern interior. There is a good choice of beers lager and cider including hand-pulled cask conditioned real ales, and the ones we sampled were in excellent condition. There are TVs showing sport, Premier league when i visited. There is a covered outside seating area under an old timberd part of the pub and a very nice beer garden. The pub is dog friendly. Ah! What a fantastic discovery... This bar, hidden away just off Main Street, turned out to be an excellent spot. The staff were welcoming from the very beginning, and there were some truly wonderful...
