I've been coming here for years, one of our group of friends favourite place to come Calamari was great. Beer menu has reduced to almost nothing, and the 3 jäger schnitzels came out raw, drowned in sauce and were $32 for literally straight uncooked fat Really disappointed, especially as this was once effective the best German bars around.. was.

The menu was pretty blazing. Expects more dishes based on German cuisine taking into account the name of the facility. Pretzels as a starter and pig crawler main were the only two elements that could be considered German. No sausages of any kind, disappointing.

we have been eating and drinking in the hop house for many years. the lookout is great and the staff is beautiful, but the service was always terrible. when they are thirsty, they go into the bar to get their drinks or they will wait for some time!

great location and fantastic atmosphere. the staff was helpful and understanding (some guests came late to eat was delicious and served very fast, although there were 10 of us. the cocktails are also fantastic! Reserva una mesa ahora

We decided to have a night out just before Melbourne's 5th lockdown. Hophaus was our inmediats choice. Always good food and cheery staff. Oir Weiner Schnitzel was so tasty.

Great communication during booking and tables were reserved with names on it. My mates and I had a great time. I'll recommend it to anyone for the beer and quality of food

This was a pre-theatre dinner consisting of a chicken salad and a wiener schnitzel. The food was well balanced, well prepared and most enjoyable. Highly recommended

Most average “German” food. I’ve been to pubs that have more German food and selection than this place. Save your money and go somewhere else. Wouldn’t go again. Reserva una mesa ahora

fantastic service, do not hesitate to ask for nutritional requirements or special. will continue to receive the best beer and cocktails on and off menu

Poor, slow service with straight forward orders mixed up and wrong. And to cap that off unsolicited and personally insulting comments from a waiter.
