Hopkins Icehouse - Reserva de mesa

The food at this restaurant was delicious, but the service during brunch was terrible. My husband and I each had a cup of coffee before ordering, but we didn't receive any coffee or water for over thirty minutes. After asking another waiter for coffee, we were finally served. However, our original waiter informed us that the restaurant was not a coffee joint, but a bar. We were taken aback by this response. Eventually, we received some milk for our coffee, but our waiter never returned to our table. Fortunately, a waitress with blue hair provided excellent service and earned a 5-star rating. I hope she received our tip instead.

The food was amazing, the service was great!! George stopped us on the street to make us a family photo. He invited us to his restaurant because he noticed that we traveled with our dog. We came here to see the city, the state line and dinner. It was perfect. Never so welcome in a restaurant!! Joe was a fantastic server. I have visited this restaurant multiple times, most recently yesterday. Every time I have enjoyed a drink and a meal, they have been consistently good. I only had one complaint when my tacos had rotten avocado, but it seems that issue has been resolved. The beer selection is fairly good, but there is a limited selection of spirits. The service from the waitresses and bartenders is always excellent and they are consistently friendly.

I and a few friends went here on a Friday night while we were in town on weekends. We chose it because of the good reviews and the variety of dishes. There were 5 of us and we all have something else in the menu. We all really enjoyed our meals (Seattle dog was a fave along with the roasted squash not obvious together). I am not from the local area, but I recently visited this restaurant with some female friends. It isn't really a spot for a younger crowd. The live music was enjoyable, but it was so loud that it was difficult to have a conversation. The cocktails were not very impressive, however, the lemon drop shots were quite good.

Date lunch with the hubs at Hopkins today. We went out on a limb and ordered dessert first! Bread Pudding is awesome! Steak tacos also a huge win with a nice spicy bite to them. Bonus to our adventure- great conversation with a TXK councilman learningabout all the cool stuff coming down the line for TXK!

Atmosphere was very laid back and comfortable. There was great music playing and a wide variety of beers to drink as well. The food was very tasty, I would have preferred more seasoning in the breading on my fried steak but it was still good. I will mostdefinatly be visiting again soon!
