I came here for lunch, was my 1st time in this restaurant. They restaurant was pretty empty even though it was 12h, lunch time. Maybe because it was monday. 1st impression was beautiful. The decoration was elegant and cozy, a fine dining atmosphere. There was only an Italian looking server in the restaurant, he seems like the manager. He was very kind in greeting me and walked me to the table. I ordered a bean soup served with croutons together with a Scallop Risotto. The soup tasted good. The Risotto was perfect for me. When the burger arrived I thought this looks a little compact and not as tall as most Gourmet Burger joints normally offer. However it was one of the few gourmet burgers you can actually pick up and it was delicious and in the end a...perfect serving. I would def go back simply for the burger. Obviously the views over the lake are a great plus. I also enjoyed the selection of beers on offer. A great relaxed place which is different to other places in Zug.

The burgers were excellent (black Angus and the chicken burger), however, 10 CHF more expensive than in the fellow burger restaurant called the Butcher. The service was quick and efficient, lovely atmosphere. Overall, we enjoyed our dinner!
We had a great dinner with burgers and wine. I must say that Hops made one of the best burgers that I’ve ever had. Perfectly medium rare! The wine selection is good and I would definitely stay for the dessert again!
Food was excellent, seabass in salt crust was wonderfull. Very good wines also by the glass. Host Nicolino and team is very dedicated and went out of their way for us
The food was not good. Everything was over priced. Staff gave us the wrong change. We were there on the 1st of August. First opening day and were very disappointed.

Everything was great service, food and drinks. Caesar salad, cordon bleu, tsatsiki and chicken burger were brilliant.
Good for dinner, nibbles and drinks attentive service and a selection on the menu would go back!
