service: we sat five minutes without being noticed. then my daughter came with her family. we were a woman velogroup and were served without having been wrong in any wise way, *unbelievable unfriendly*. No one of us has ever happened in the art. we were made with every opportunity and "to the screw". we have not even dared to ask something with such an aggressive ton we were treated. a person who has chosen the wrong call. a single operation can thus unfortunately completely destroy a whole stay. the restaurant would be very nicely located with excellent infrastructure and more beautiful view. the lunch was good, even if we waited very long (almost 40 minutes) for it, but surely we will never go there any more.

Die Alpwirtschaft Horben ist ein beliebtes Ausflugsziel auf dem Lindenberg mit ausgezeichneter Schweizerküche und viel Betrieb. Es hat ein einfaches grosses Restaurant und eine sehr grosse Gartenwirtschaft mit Pavillon. Wir genossen ein grosses Cordon bleu mit perfekten Pommes frites und Gemüse, ein Prachtsteller. Trotz sehr hektischem Betrieb im vollen Restaurant war die Bedienung sehr freundlich und es gab keine langen Wartezeiten. Sehr gerne werden wir wieder hingehen.

we came for afternoon drinks and desserts to this wonderful and lively place on the lindenberg and between the two cantons aargau and luzern. a fantastic intention could not change our mind about a not too friendly behavior of the service...Personal most of them seemed to serve uninterested and very free. after some waiting desserts and drinks came in large portions and tasted great. for us the service has to improve much before we would return. we are regular guests in the restaurant and have been very nicely received and hosted every time (also at heavily visited weekends). Menu card, drink, as well as eating came within a short time, so never "a wait" came up. there is also a child card with a good value for money. there are daily menus for selection (approx. 10 menus).Rundum very satisfied and we are happy to come back.

in beautiful winter weather it has many people in restaurant. there is a course between the tables, so the local becomes rather restless. Nevertheless: nice personal, beautiful selection at desserts and drinks on the afternoon.

the service was very nice and fast. the lunch (Rindsstroganoff) was good, unfortunately a lot of meat and little rice. the sun we did not see, in the pavillon it was beautifully bright.
