Not sure what their problem is, but they are rude! They ignore you, and I get the feeling it?s a race thing because I don?t speak Spanish! The food isn?t good at all and very greasy! The coffee was good but not worth the money they charge for it. They pastries are very good clearly not made by them or there but over priced. Can get fresh made in Elizabeth for a lot less money. This place won?t last much longer because they only want to pick who they cater too.
I'm not someone who typically gives low ratings, but I've decided not to return to this location. I ordered breakfast, which usually comes with toast, and when I asked for it, I later noticed that my bill included an extra charge of $5. I questioned the person at the register, and he told me it was correct because I ordered the wrong item. That extra charge has cost them a customer; I'm done. I'll stick to eating at the Dinner Bus Stop instead.
Ordered From this place for the first time the food arrived exactly on time which is great however it arrived cold and inaccurate. When I called back to let them know they were unpleasant. The Churrasco steak and tostones were cold and rubbery. The beans were mostly water. Needless to say 1st and last time placing an order to this place. Staff and food deserve only 1star at the most.
Food and drinks are great. Only thing is they always start to close an hour early. Meaning kitchen is close and all you can order is drinks and whatevers on the counter. I drive from the bronx to work here at carteret to never make it on time to order from here. Idk if it's a NJ thing but it's such a shame a great place like this closes so early. The staff was incredibly helpful and patient. Although my favorite baked good was sold out, the other items I tried were fantastic! I also enjoyed a steak arepa that really hit the spot. The fresh orange juice was a delightful treat on a hot day. I look forward to trying more of their menu and pastries when I'm back in the area!
The waitress who served us was extremely rude and unhelpful, making it impossible to ask her any questions without receiving a snarky response. We had to wait 20 minutes for the restaurant to open, only to be met with subpar service. Overall, the experience was not worth repeating.
Valadamire was our waiter. He was the best waiter I've ever had, and I'm 55 years old. He was quick, came to our table to tell us there was a delay in our beverage. 100% recommend him if you are going there.
This restaurant is fantastic. Being half Colombian, I find it perfectly captures the essence of both my Colombian heritage and my other roots. Plus, the portion sizes are generous! Reserva una mesa ahora
The restaurant has a small capacity, allowing for only one customer at a time. Due to the limited staff of around five workers, food preparation may take up to an hour.
