this little hidden gem is a hive of local activity, and if it is popular with locals, it must be good. the renter was very welcoming, we booked a table and when we arrived, he welcomed us like old friends! the eating portions were huge and hot. would definitely visit again if in the opposite and hungry!

we have had our caravans in the primrose valley for ten years and passed this pub at numerous locations. the ball at the end of the last year and now our family of six are regular. in the opposite you find no more friendly and cleaner pub. the food and drinks are excellent and the service is fantastic.

we called here for a meal with friends, we were pleasantly surprised what a beautiful beer garden. we ordered our meals in the garden to eat as it was nice weather. eating was so good, a basic pub menu with great praises, we will definitely visit again.

perfect English pub. beautiful personal. and very friendly. really clean and eating is made with care and is very good quality. pity more pubs are not so. always busy and they need to book. would recommend them for food or just a drink.

Lovely traditional pub with lovely staff. Didn't eat just called in for a beer but ended up returning the next day for the same based purely on how nice the pub is. Sat outside both times!
