Hostal Les Roquetes

Well located, short walk to the rack railway station or the main street. Our room was spacious and clean, but was really just beds and a bathroom. Small sunny balcony with nice view. The room had no air-con or fridge, so wasn’t the most comfortable place to be in the middle of a heatwave. We also had dinner here, I’d describe it as good honest food with good honest portions. Menu only in Catalan but staff were helpful with English translations.

Detalles resaltantes: Hay muy poco comercio en la zona, por lo que recomiendo que en el pueblo anterior, en Ribes, compren lo que necesiten en algún supermercado. El pueblo solo cuenta con una tienda muy pequeña y apenas dos bares. Sin embargo, la tranquilidad y las vistas del lugar son maravillosas. El menú del almuerzo es muy variado y los platos son caseros. Las camareras son muy atentas y el servicio es rápido. Se recomiendan especialmente los canelones caseros, el estofado de carne y la crema catalana. Se puede hacer reserva. Aspecto positivo: permiten mascotas dentro (como en el resto de los bares de la zona). Repetimos.

Quiet place, very spacious, comfortable and clean rooms. I give the service 4* because the cook has a somewhat special character and is not capable of adapting to the client's needs.
