In November 2023, I emailed the hotel to book 3 nights for June 2024. Alix emailed me with wire instructions and told me to wire the money to the hotel. Our Chase bank did it, but later I was informed it wasn't successful. So on Dec 6, our banker tried again and successfully wired €495 to Hotel Du Barry. After that I have emailed the hotel many many times asking them to check their bank account and confirm our booking. But nobody ever responded to my emails anymore. This is so frustrating. We wired the money and we have the recipient of the wire. Why don't you respond to my email and confirm our booking? Why? Please respond to my email if your boss received our wire transfer of €495.
We stayed one night in this magnificent hotel, with splendid decoration. The room was very pleasant and we particularly enjoyed the spa (delicately prepared with soft music and essential oils with a view of the mountain. A top restaurant, with original, surprising and refined dishes (like the perfect egg, the pork, or the apple dessert, with 5 stars for the tonka bean ice cream! . All in a very calming atmosphere, with a charming and welcoming team. We want to get used to it! :
