A delightful meal in this old mill by the river. My wife and I thought all the courses were excellent and also beautifully presented. Hard to choose favourites but my wife loved her salmon starter and peach desert, and I particularly liked my Guinea fowl main course. Lovely and very reasonably priced wines by the glass. Service was very friendly.

A delightful restaurant in the middle of the forest. Recommended by the Manor of the Golden Horses where we were staying. The cuisine is superb and the staff attentive and lovely. The menu is varied and everyone will find something they love. Home made bread complements rhe meal. High quality at a very reasonable price.

Gorgeous venue and setting in the forest. The bedrooms are lovely, spacious,very comfortable. The restaurant is amazing and not expensive for the quality of food. They speak English which helps as our fench is not good. We've stayed 4 times on our way yo our 2nd home in the Charente.

Truly fabulous dining experience, fantastic and invigorating outdoor venue. Staff and boss friendly and cordial, very pleasant. Beautifully crafted dishes, carefully prepared starters and above all a well-adjusted food-wine pairing. I’ll be back.

This is a gem. A picturesque rural hotel, nice rooms and superb food. I cannot recommend it highly enough
